Excellent instrument
I am re-entering clarinet after a 30 year layoff. Having read reviews on both this instrument and this music organization, this seemed to be the best option. The clarinet arrived well adjusted, with excellent intonation and action. Kudos to Paul Effman Music Store for handling this terrific instrument.

Beautiful sound
I'm very happy with this clarinet. It has a beautiful sound. It came tuned exactly where it should be. Very nice case as well.

A good sounding clarinet.
This is my first clarinet and I bought it because of the good reviews it got on Amazon. At first, I had difficulty making a consistent sound with it. I had the clarinet checked at a local band instrument repair shop and the repairman tested it for leaks. There were no leaks and all the pads were fine. When he tried the mouthpiece the clarinet sounded fine in the upper registers but poorly in the low registers. He stated that the problem was my mouthpiece. I have purchased a Vandoren M30 mouthpiece recommended by Michelle Anderson who has an online clarinet course. The mouthpiece is in transit as I write this and I am sure it will fix the problem. This is a nice starter clarinet and I plan to keep it until I am ready for a transition later.
